小学英语是学生英语学习的启蒙阶段,对学生的终身学习起着重要的作用。如果将英语这门语言比作高楼大厦,那么英语单词就是这座大厦的建筑材料。新课程标准要求小学毕业时“学习有关本级(二级)话题范围的600~700个单词和50个左右的习惯用语。”要达到这个要求,每位英语教师都应抓好单词教学这个英语教学的重要环节。
