中国第四纪孢粉及其数据处理学术会议于1986年10月18日——10月23日在北京召开。来自全国24个省、市、自治区的地质、地理、石油、煤炭、高校、海洋、中国科学院等系统的96位代表出席了会议。会议共收到学术论文及摘要38篇。中国孢粉学会理事长徐仁教授主持了会议。施雅风、刘东生以及美国华盛顿大学塚田松雄(M.Tsukada)等教授应邀到会并分别作了“第四纪研究的动态和发展趋势”、“中国第四纪冰期”、“现代植被带:历史的背景”的报告。会议还安排了中澳第四纪孢粉协作组的专题报告、“生物演化的层次和第四纪时代的范畴”、“第四纪气候变化的成因”
China Quaternary sporopollen and its data processing academic conference in October 18, 1986 - October 23 held in Beijing.
