国务院代总理李鹏于2月12日在一次会议上说,前不久发生了几起重大交通事故, 经过各方面的努力,目前事故的善后事宜巳基本上得到了妥善处理。李鹏在全国企业承包经营责任制座谈会上说,这几起交通事故给人民生命财产造成很大损失。现在国务院组织的调查组正在对事故进行调查,以便找出原因,分清责任,提出措施并做出必要的处理。
Speaking at a meeting on February 12, Premier Peng Li of the State Council said that a few serious incidents occurred recently. After various efforts, the aftermath of the accident has basically been properly handled. Li Peng said at the symposium on responsibility system for contracting management of enterprises across the country that these traffic accidents caused great losses to people’s lives and property. Now the investigation team organized by the State Council is investigating the accident in order to find out the reasons, clarify the responsibilities, put forward measures and make the necessary treatment.
