黄果树在贵州的安顺地区的镇宁、关岭两个布依族苗族自治县境内,距贵阳一百五十公里。春深五月,我们驱车前往观赏这世界第二大瀑布。一脚踏进安顺辖界,便觉峰峦异趣,流水殊色,与贵州高原上的其他山水迥然不同。那山,纷然耸峙,不甚高,也不甚大,但座座都是嶙嶙鹘立,突兀凌空;崚嶒的山石,深深浅浅,多呈乳色,只背阴处长苍苔,缝隙间生灌丛,间或有一两株松柏,就鹤立鸡群,很显眼了。从山脚到山顶,岩石均呈水平的层次,象是用格尺划的一道道平行线一般,且山山如此,地质年代显示得非常清晰。汽车在其间行驶,人向前,山向后,似乎是地壳仍在进行着奇妙的造山运动! 接近镇宁,便时而可闻流水跌落石上的叮冬声。留心寻去,准能在绿崖苍岩间看到一段小小的瀑布。瀑下,或为潭,或为溪,或者瀑流淌入岩溶裂隙,消声匿迹了。这些娟美可观的瀑布流泉,使我这个东北
