中国伟大的历史学家司马迁有句名言：“古者富贵而名磨灭,不可胜记,唯倜傥非常之人称焉。”意思是说,在中国数千年历史舞台上,大权在握、显赫一时的人物,可谓是多如牛毛,不可胜数,然而历史无情,“大江东去。浪淘尽,千古风流人物”,他们之中的大多数,早已磨灭,被后人所淡忘。但是,确有为数不多的对国家对民族有突出贡献,为人民大众做过积德善事的“非常之人”,尽管命途多舛,却能够遗泽后世,永垂青史。党和国家领导人之一、中国农民知己邓子恢就是这样一个“非常之人”。
