The rise of democratic political thought before and after the victory of the war of resistance against Japan is not only a reflection of the changes in the international and domestic situations at that time, but also a new historical stage in the long-term development of the democratic political movement. It is not a simple reproduction of the old democratic thinking, but a leap forward and deepening in the continuation. It takes the Western democratic politics as the blueprint and the goal of establishing a democratic state. Its demands on democratization of the politics, democratization of the economy, democratization of the military and culture are “in many ways” “with the nature of new democracy.” It plays a positive and progressive role in promoting the war of resistance, updating the psychological quality of the nation and improving the cultural soil, advancing the historical process and deepening the understanding of the democratic process. However, because of the limitations of history and class and the lack of a profound mass base, the democratic political trend of thought has also lost its real ground for realizing its claim.
