海外华侨具有爱国爱乡的光荣传统。特别是在抗日战争时期,他们掀起规模巨大的爱国运动,为祖国抗战的胜利立下了显赫的功绩。在纪念抗日战争胜利五十周年之际,进一步探讨和宣传华侨抗战功勋,对于新形势下,继承和发扬爱国主义传统,振奋民族精神,实现祖国统一大业,具有十分重要的现实意义。
Overseas Chinese have a glorious tradition of patriotic love. During the period of the Anti-Japanese War, in particular, they launched a huge patriotic movement that set a prominent merit in the triumph of the motherland’s war of resistance. In commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, further discussion and promotion of the overseas Chinese’s war of resistance against Japan are of great practical significance to the inheritance and development of the tradition of patriotism, the promotion of national spirit and the great cause of reunifying the motherland in the new situation.
