地质科学是与地壳有关的各门科学的总称。它研究地壳中的物质的成分与分布、地质构造、地质交化作用和地球的发展历史等方面。地质科学是一门新兴的科学,它与矿山实践和其他基本科学的发展有着密切的联系,它在欧美各国,不过有100多年的历史,在中国只有50-60年的历史。正是由于它新,所以发展迅速;由于它应用广,所以与生产突际、与其它科学紧密相连,在地质学中形成了许多新兴的部门。在解放以后,在短短的几年内,我们中国的地质事业
Geological science is a general term for various sciences related to the earth’s crust. It studies the composition and distribution of materials in the earth’s crust, geological structure, geological interaction, and the history of the earth’s development. Geological science is a new science. It is closely related to the development of mine practice and other basic sciences. It has a history of more than 100 years in Europe and the United States and only 50-60 years in China. It is because of its newness that it has developed rapidly; due to its wide application, it is closely connected with the production process and other sciences, and many new sectors have formed in geology.
