在当前的“国学”热中,正确的态度是应当给“国学”一个准确的定位。“国学”既是一个可以成立的独特的学科,也不应使其庸俗化。“国学”的提出,是中国学人在西风东渐的文化背景下现代学科重新划分中的应对智慧和策略的体现,“国学”的内涵,就是中国传统文化中人文学科范围内的学术。“国学”应当是一种学术的定位,讨论“国学”的范围,是学术的范围,而不是全社会,因此,对出于商业目的的大众传媒的炒作应当保持警惕。给“国学”一个定位,给传统文化一个“度”,对近二十几年的文化热进行反思,乃至于对今后的文化取向的选择,也是具有非常重要的启示意义的。
In the current heat of “Sinology”, the correct attitude is that we should give an accurate orientation of “Sinology”. Guoxue is neither a unique discipline that can be established nor should it be vulgarized. The proposal of “Guoxue” is a manifestation of Chinese coping strategies and wisdom in the redistribution of modern disciplines under the cultural background of the westerly eastward. The connotation of “Guoxue” is the academic within the scope of the humanities in Chinese traditional culture. “Guoxue” should be an academic orientation. It is academic scope to discuss the scope of Guoxue, not the society as a whole. Therefore, we should be vigilant against the mass media hype for commercial purposes. It is also of great significance to give a definition of “Sinology”, give a “degree” to traditional culture, reflect on the cultural fever in the past two decades, and even choose the future cultural orientation.
