甾体激素化学在解放以前几乎是空白。关于甾体激素人工改造合成无论在理论上或是在实验方面都是在解放以后才开始的。不过在这方面工作人员不多,加之在去年以前工作不免有脱离突际之处,所以工作成绩不够理想。兹约略报告这方面的工作情况如下: (一) 植物性原料的调查研究合成甾体激素及其类似物所用的原料最初是用动物性的天然产物即牛胆酸及胆固醇,近年来大都是用植物性的天然产物即甾体皂素配基(Steroid sapogenin)。我国地大物博,这种植物一定极多,可是甾体植物资源调研工作也
Steroid hormone chemistry is almost empty before liberation. Artificial synthesis of steroid hormones in both theoretical and experimental aspects of liberation began after. However, the lack of staff in this area and the unavoidable departure from previous breakthroughs in work done before last year have resulted in unsatisfactory results.
