叶浅予先生是我国著名的漫画家、中国画家、美术教育家,以漫画与舞蹈人物画著称于画坛,他勤奋努力坚持创作,他的艺术成就是多方面的,特别是在上世纪40年代初期,以舞蹈人物画在中国画领域取得了极高的艺术成就。从漫画转向中国画创作,速写伴随其风风雨雨,他足迹所至之处,搜集了大量的人物形象,记录了当时的社会生活状态,从而研究出“目识、心记、意测”这一重要的艺术创作造型规律。他特别重视从传统中汲取营养,所表现的现代舞蹈人物和传统中国画笔墨有机结合,形成了独特的艺术风貌。纵观其漫画创作转向中国画创作过程,从中我们可以看出他艺术手法的突破和对艺术“真、善、美”的领悟。
