半年多以来,我省各级教育行政部门和中、小学校,在各级党委和政府的领导下,与青年团、教工会等有关部门密切配合,遵照中央指示,大力进行了对中、小学毕业生的劳动生产宣传教育和升学就业的组织指导工作。二月间(寒假期),各地结合中、小学教师学习总路线总任务,曾专门检查和批判了教师中轻视体力劳动和体力劳动者的错误思想,初步认识了劳动教育的重要意义。春季开学后,一般学校即开始注意了劳动教育。但在最初阶段中,工作进展的极不平衡,在宣传教育内容上也存在着很大的片面性。主要是把劳动教育当作单纯动员学生从事生产的临时突击任务,片面强调劳动生产,不敢再提升学。因而在部分地区曾一度形成紧张状态,学生和家长的思想相当混乱,有些地区甚至发生学生退学的现象。五月产,省府颁发了「关于加强小学、初中毕业学生参加劳动生产和学习的宣传教育工作的指示」;省委宣传部通知各地结合中心工作大张旗鼓地开展劳动生产的宣传工作,并印发了「向农民群众和农村知识青年进行劳动教育讲话」,团省委也专门发出指示;山西日报、山西人民广播电台均及时作了有力配合;我厅在四月间中学校长会议和市、传文教局、科长
