Ever since Takeshi Takeuchi and four good male for the first time the use of cationic surfactants in spectrophotometry has brought a new vitality to the historic photometric method. In recent years, the number of papers on the applications and theoretical studies of surfactants in photometric analysis has been increasing. To date, various indirect or direct micellar sensitization (solubilization) spectrophotometry have been established for more than half of the metals and non-metallic elements of the periodic table. A number of articles have been published to review and comment on the application of surfactants in spectrophotometry and related reaction mechanisms. Of particular interest to analysts is the strong sensitization of the surfactant, which has resulted in significant improvements in sensitivity and contrast
