本文探讨和论述了如何正确理解＂第一生产力＂中＂第一＂的科学方法，以及＂科学技术第一＂和＂劳动者主导地位＂的关系。认为正确理解＂第一生产力＂中＂第一＂的科学方法，不是宏观的、超脱的和模糊的方法，而是辩证发展的历史分析方法和微观与宏观相结合的分析综合方法。＂科学技术第一＂和＂劳动者主导地位＂的关系是辩证统一的，既有区别又有联系。在科学技术高度发展的现代，＂劳动者主导地位＂的首要含义是＂科学技术第一＂；＂科学技术第一＂是＂劳动者主导地位＂的集中表现，是对＂劳动者主导地位＂内涵的科学揭示、丰富和发展。把二者割裂开来，对立起来是不正确的。
