邓小平同志南巡谈话的精髓,是全面坚持党的基本路线,抓住时机,发展经济,更好地建设有中国特色的社会主义。为此,要求我们思想更解放一点,胆子更大一点,改革开放的步子更快一点。我认为在这三个“一点”中,前提和关键是第一个“一点.”,即思想更解放一点。《谈话》高瞻远瞩,高屋建瓴,根据国际国内形势的发展,实际上提出了开展一个新的思想解放运动的任务;同时针对当前存在的带普遍性的深层思想认识问题,作了全面、深刻和富有新意的理论阐述,为开展一个新的思想解放运动提供了强大的思想理论武器。现在,全国各地解放思想的大讨论的广泛开展,标志着这个新的思想解放运动已经掀起,方兴未艾。在这样的时候,从历史和现实、理论和实践的结合上,就解放思想的若干有关问题作点探讨,对于我们正确理解并自觉参加这个运动,无疑是必要的和有益的。
