Zhang Naitong, an electronic scientist, born in July 1934 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. After graduating from the Department of Radio Engineering of Nanjing Institute of Technology in 1956, he was assigned to teach at Harbin Institute of Technology. He was sent by Harbin Institute of Technology to radio department of Tsinghua University for two years and returned to school in August 1958. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of communication and information systems. He is a member of Harbin Institute of Technology’s Radio Engineering Department,
