The Ministry of Water Resources held a commendation ceremony of the National Advanced Zone, the Township Water Conservancy and Soil Conservation Administration Station and the Outstanding Water Conservancy and Conservation Guarantor in Beijing from December 6 to December 9, 1988. We are proud to represent the 244 advanced collectives and 609 outstanding water conservancy officials who attended this grand ceremony for the first time since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. We are honored by Vice-President CPPCC and our distinguished old minister, Comrade Qian Zhengying, and the State Council’s economy in the Three Gorges area Development Office Director, former Deputy Minister Comrade Li Boning, Minister Yang Zhenhuai, Vice Minister Niu Maosheng, Zhang Chunyuan and other leading comrades met and gave us awards. This is not
