本文采用个案研究设计,以某高校的5名外籍英语教师为调查对象,探索了我国高校外籍教师的职业认同现状及其成因。研究表明,他们主要拥有“完美的教育者”、“坚定的建构主义者”、“权威的英语使用者”、“中西文化的交流者”、“边缘的局外人”等五种职业认同。总体而言,他们秉承西方教育理念,对我国英语教学传统理解不足,深入探究起来,他们在任教学校教师共同体中归属方式的错位对其职业认同的形成具有重要影响。
This article uses the case study design, with a survey of five foreign English teachers in a university to explore the status quo and causes of the employment approval of foreign teachers in colleges and universities in our country. The research shows that they mainly possess “perfect educators ”, “firm constructivists ”, “authoritative English users ”, “Chinese and Western cultural communicators ”, “marginal outsiders ”And other five kinds of professional identity. Overall, they uphold the concept of Western education, English education in our country to understand the traditional lack of understanding, in-depth exploration, their teaching teachers in the community of teachers in the dislocation of their occupational identity has an important influence on the formation.
