海权崛起:西方国家的近代化之路人类历史上出现过的陆权大国,主要有中华帝国、奥斯曼土耳其帝国、蒙古帝国、苏联、德国等;强大的海权国家,则有葡萄牙、西班牙、荷兰、英国、美国、日本等;此外还有一些海权和陆权结合的国家,如罗马帝国、法国等。在古代历史上,陆权国家占据明显优势,中华帝国、奥斯曼土耳其和蒙古帝国,都是盛极一时的超级大帝国。
The Rise of Sea Power: The Road to Modernization in Western Countries The great land powers that have emerged in the history of mankind include the Chinese Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Empire of Mongolia, the Soviet Union and Germany. Strong maritime powers include Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, etc .; in addition there are some sea and land rights combined countries, such as the Roman Empire, France and so on. In ancient history, land-based countries occupied distinct advantages. The Chinese Empire, Ottoman Turkey, and the Mongol Empire were all super-empire states that flourished.
