1999年,是嘉陵军转民和开发生产摩托车20周年。回顾嘉陵20年的发展历程,可以自豪地说,我们不仅创造了嘉陵的辉煌,使企业由一个名不见经传的产品单一的军工企业发展成为我国摩托车行业最大的国家级企业集团,而且引导和促进了中国摩托车工业的发展,带动和促进了数百家协作配套企业和上千家摩托车经销企业的发展,为民族摩托车工业的发展作出了显著贡献。
