藏传佛教寺院是藏民族信仰中心,也是藏民族社会生活的重要组成部分。寺院从自然地理选址到社会环境选择,以及寺院营建过程到寺院装饰,都体现了藏民族对吉祥理念的秉持。本文仅通过分析宗教吉祥象征物在藏传佛教寺院建筑选址过程的应用,说明结合宗教理念与藏民族世俗传统的吉祥象征物对藏传佛教宗教建筑艺术的发展有重要影响。
Tibetan Buddhist monastery is the center of Tibetan faith, but also an important part of Tibetan society. The selection of the temple from natural geographical location to the social environment, as well as the temple construction process to the temple decoration, all embody the Tibetan nation’s upholding of the auspicious concept. This article only analyzes the application of religious auspicious symbols in the process of site selection of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. It shows that the auspicious symbolic combination of religious ideas and the secular traditions of Tibetan people has an important influence on the development of Tibetan Buddhist religious architecture.
