本文陈述了美国外语教育专业团体和职前、入职、在职三个不同层次教师教育质量认证机构对外语教师质量标准的制定与认证。文章从界定专业成长的领域和知识结构、制定专业发展的标准和层级、建构质量保障体系三个方面揭示了美国20世纪80年代以来外语教师质量标准改革的基本走向,并阐发了其对我国外语教师质量建设的启示。
This article describes the development and accreditation of quality standards for foreign language teachers by the U.S. foreign language education professional bodies and the pre-service, entry-level and in-service teacher education quality certification bodies at three different levels. The article reveals the basic trends of the reform of foreign language teachers’ quality standards since the 1980s in the United States from three aspects: defining the field of professional growth and knowledge structure, setting standards and levels of professional development, and constructing quality assurance system.
