In his novels entitled Son and Lover by Herbert Herbert Lawrence, Lawrence spends a great deal of ink to show the disastrous consequences of Britain’s transition from free capitalism towards monopoly capitalism at the turn of the millennium sin. Lawrence, in his own unique writing, showed a great awe of nature by a master writer, and at the same time denounced to a large extent the unethical behavior of the British at that time that destroyed nature for short-term economic interests. Through this work, we can find that the author expressed the love of nature and his expectation of a harmonious and benign life in the performance of the destruction of human nature and nature in the industrial society.
