忻黄单9号是山西忻县地区农科所1969年用自交系157与金03配制而成的一个中早熟单交种.1975年引入平罗县,经1976～1978年我们边试验、示范,1981年推广面积已达32000亩,占玉米面积的80.6%.它的主要特点是:一、生育期适中,抗逆性强.忻黄单9号生育期130天左右,成熟期介于早熟的白马牙和迟熟的宁单1号之间,既能充分利用生长期间的有效积温,
