目前多数安防产品没有统一的国家或行业标准,加之DVR等一些安防产品的门槛不高,就造成了安防设备的生产厂家众多,且都有自己的一套编解码和网络传输协议,各厂家只能是各自为政,仅能与自家的产品互联,进而构成了一个个信息“孤岛”,难以联成更大规模的网络。这已成为平安城市建设等大规模联网项目需求的技术瓶颈。
