一南朝鲜一片兴旺景象。过去两年它的经济每年增长率超过12%,经过二十年已居于世界最快增长率之列。它是唯一一个有世界级小汽车和半导体制造商的发展中国家。无怪乎南朝鲜人日见其飘飘然。全斗焕总统的高级经济秘书朴允哲说: “我们准备三至五年内跻身先进国家的行列。”但大多数南朝鲜人甚至还不想等那么久。他们认为汉城奥运会将象征性地把南朝鲜引进发达国家的行列,犹如1964年奥运会标志着日本作为经济大国再次崛起一般。而且非但奥运会,从办公室自动化到陶瓷制作和储蓄率,南朝鲜人样样宗宗唯日本马首是赡。
A flourishing scene in south Korea. Its economy has grown at an annual rate of over 12% over the past two years and has now been among the fastest growing in the world for two decades.
