Since its birth in 1969, the world’s first computer network, ARPANET, has made amazing achievements in computer networks after 30 years of development and has become an important pillar of social informationization. Due to the openness of the network system and the inherent security flaws of the existing network protocols and software systems, people are faced with great challenges in network security while enjoying the convenience and effectiveness brought by the network. Hackers, computer viruses, illegal access to information and other crimes are rampant, resulting in huge economic losses. According to FBI statistics, the annual economic losses caused by network security problems are as high as tens of billions of dollars. This article analyzes the current status of cybercrime and its causes.
