当苹果树的枝干、果实和根系仍在继续生长时,于晚夏进行修剪,在理论上可除去全树叶面积的35~45%(Taylor,1982)。在夏剪树上,损失大量叶面积可能导致树体组织里的碳水化合物和营养元素浓度的减少,从而限制果树的生长。在苹果树新梢和果实的旺盛生长期间,其碳水化合物大都以山梨糖醇和葡萄糖的形式优先转移到根和基部茎等部位。本试验的目的在于检测夏剪对苹果成龄结果树和幼年未结果旺长树的碳水化合物和营养元素含量的影响。
When the branches, fruits and roots of apple trees continue to grow, trimming them in late summer can theoretically remove 35-45% of the total leaf area (Taylor 1982). In summer-cut trees, the loss of large leaf areas can result in a reduction in the concentration of carbohydrates and nutrients in the tree’s tissues, thus limiting fruit tree growth. During the vigorous growth of apple shoots and fruits, most of their carbohydrates are preferentially transferred to roots and base stems in the form of sorbitol and glucose. The purpose of this experiment was to examine the effect of summer cuttings on the carbohydrate and nutrient content of apple-growing and apple trees.
