简介——提出并分析一种紧凑的新型窄壁定向耦合器,其耦合区域是一个脊形波导,此波导的尺寸能够存在TE_(10),TE_(20)和TE_(30)模。耦合比及无反射条件分别由TE_(20)与TE_(30)模之间和TE_(10)与TE_(30)模了间的干扰程度确定。改变耦合缝的高度,这种耦合器就能当作可变功率分配器使用。对于在16到19GHz频率范围内的3db耦合来说,能够获得在±0.5db内的功率分配误差、大于30db的隔离和30db以上的反射损耗。实验耦合结果表明与理论相当吻合。
INTRODUCTION - A compact, new type of narrow-wall directional coupler is proposed and analyzed. The coupling region is a ridge waveguide. The size of the waveguide can be TE 10, TE 20 and TE 30. The coupling ratio and non-reflection condition are determined by the degree of interference between TE 20 and TE 30 and between TE 10 and TE 30 respectively. By changing the height of the coupling, this coupler can be used as a variable power divider. For 3db coupling in the frequency range 16 to 19 GHz, power distribution errors within ± 0.5 dB, isolation greater than 30 dB, and reflection losses above 30 dB can be obtained. Experimental coupling results show quite consistent with the theory.
