全国人大法律委员会副主任、中国生产力学会会长王茂林在 “2005全球通-建设和谐社会与企业社会责任(南昌)国际峰会” 新闻发布会上强调: 在全球经济一体化步伐日 益加快、中国市场经济体制逐步 完善的今天,党的十六届四中全 会提出全面构建和谐社会的伟 大设想,这是以胡锦涛为总书记 的党中央的一项重要战略决策, 是坚持科学发展观,对在全国倡 导的经济和社会协调发展的又 一次有力推动。在这个大背景 下,中国的经济将在体现社会和 谐、追求可持续发展的大环境下 跨入一个更高水平的发展阶段。

Under this background, China’s economy will enter a higher level of development in the context of reflecting social harmony and pursuing sustainable development.
