硬粒小麦是七十年代引入我国的。目前仅新疆有少量栽培,云南、四川、青海、内蒙已开始试种。对这种新引进的麦类作物,很多人都不大了解,一般认为它的产量低,不适于高水肥地种植,因此发展不快,对硬粒小麦的研究、利用也不够重视。但在国际上,特别是在欧洲,硬粒小麦是一种重要作物,始终保持着一定面积;消费量大,在国际贸易上很受欢迎。为丰富我国主粮品种,满足人民日益提高的经济需要和适应日益发展的旅游业,以及扩大对外贸易,增加麦类品种资源,我们对硬粒小麦应给予应有的重视,加强硬粒小麦的研究工作,因地制宜,有计划地发展种植。
Durum wheat was introduced to our country in the seventies. Currently only a small amount of cultivation in Xinjiang, Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia has begun trial planting. In order to enrich the staple food varieties in our country, meet the people’s increasing economic needs and adapt to the growing tourism industry, expand foreign trade and increase the resources of wheat varieties, we should pay due attention to durum wheat and strengthen the research on durum wheat Work, according to local conditions, plan the development of planting.
