我省沿江棉区,受季风影响,往往秋雨连绵,棉花铃期病害种类繁多,引起烂桃,何种为害最烈,迄无定论。六十年代前,大多认为炭疽、角斑、红腐、黑果等为主要致病菌原。1979—1982年间,据我们观察,导致烂桃的主要病害为棉铃疫病,尤以多雨年份或地区,疫病流行时为害更重,田间病铃率可达90%以上;其次角斑、炭疽、褐斑等病虽发生较多,但未见直接造成烂桃。红腐、黑果、红粉、曲霉等病害大多在虫害或其他原因造成的伤口上,腐生为害。乙磷铝和保铃制剂1号(简称保铃丰)防治棉铃疫病和烂桃,效果较好,为今后防治烂桃有希望的农药。现将近年来观察情况,简报如下:
