日本人在用汉字对接西方文化时,是力图以汉字去适应西方的思想原貌,日本新词中的日本文化性,比起严复译词中的中国文化性来,更接近西方文化的性质,更适于对西方工业体系/教育体系/知识体系的表达。中国在救国图强的紧迫性中,全面引进日本新语,又正合了要在最短时间找到把握西方工业体系/教育体系/知识体系的语言工具的实用心理。甲午战败后中国全面引进日本政治体制和教育体制,都为日本新词成为中国现代哲学基本语汇提供了背景支持。
When Japanese people use Chinese characters to connect with western culture, they try hard to adapt Chinese characters to the original ideas of the West. The Japanese cultural character in Japanese neologisms is closer to the nature of Western culture than the Chinese culture in Yan Fu’s translation Suitable for Western industrial system / education system / knowledge system. In the urgency of saving the country, China fully introduces Japanese neologisms and in the meantime it is time to find a practical tool to find a linguistic tool that can grasp Western industrial systems / education systems / knowledge systems. After the Sino-Ika defeat, the full introduction of Japan’s political system and education system all provided background support for Japanese neologisms to become the basic vocabulary of modern Chinese philosophy.
