A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a masterpiece of 19th-century German famous musician Mendelssohn, inspired by Shakespeare’s eponymous play. This article mainly explores and explains two major characteristics of A Midsummer Night’s Dream: the beauty of music and the beauty of drama, with a view to understanding and grasping Mendelssohn’s music more meticulously.
