“What buzzwords are, why they appear, why buzzwords are used to express emotions, and what kind of emotional structure buzzwords express.” “With these questions, I started a discussion about buzzwords and emotional structures. In fact, the emergence of catchphrases has existed since ancient times. Nowadays, buzzwords in our lives appear for many reasons. According to the definition of emotional structure in Raymond Williams’ cultural materialism, we know that buzzwords are the mainstay of cultural life as carriers Ordinary people ”life experience ". Buzzwords are a barometer of society and the times. Through buzzwords, we can appreciate some subtle cultural psychology of society and the times, and appreciate some profound meaning in society and the times. It is in this sense that popular language is the lubricant of folk life, where the civil society is full of vitality, where a large number of buzzwords appear, when the social life is more relaxed and active, and the more popular buzzwords are developed at that time, Popular language aptly reflect the changes of the times.
