Introduction The provision of sanitation and epidemic prevention services refers to the amount of work that the sanitation and epidemic prevention departments actually accomplish to meet the objective needs of the society. Here, there are both quantitative and qualitative measures. As the basis for measuring the quality of health and epidemic prevention services is still lacking in many aspects, we mainly reflect the actual level of sanitation and epidemic prevention services provided in terms of quantity. We will describe the overall picture of the provision of urban and rural health and epidemic prevention services in China as a whole, and evaluate the actual water supply of such services.
