延安——中国革命的圣地,是伟大领袖和导师毛主席生活战斗过十三个春秋的地方。 1935年10月,毛主席率领中国工农红军北上抗日,冲破国民党反动派的层层封锁,完成了举世闻名的二万五千里长征,胜利到达陕北。1937年1月,毛主席到达延安,延安成了中共中央的所在地。从此,延安就和伟大领袖毛主席的英名连系在一起,成为国内外革命人民衷心向往的革命圣地。
Yan’an, the holy land of the Chinese revolution, is the place where the great leader and counsellor Mao lived through the thirteen years of life. In October 1935, Chairman Mao led the Red Army of Chinese workers and peasants to go northward to resist Japan, broke through the layered blockade of the Kuomintang reactionaries, and completed the world-famous 25,000-mile Long March. In January 1937, Chairman Mao arrived in Yan’an and Yan’an became the seat of the CPC Central Committee. Since then, Yanan has been linked to the great leader Mao Zedong’s reputation and has become a revolutionary holy land that the revolutionary people both at home and abroad have sincerely yearned for.
