一天早上邂逅一位担任厂长的友人,谈及有的职工想干个体户问题,就个人所知告之。甲:现在鼓励适当发展个体经济,但这不会是鼓励企业职工离职去干个体户吧! 乙:不会吧! 甲:报上宣传可厉害哪!东万元户,西万元户。于是有的职工也跃跃欲试要去争做万元户。乙:个体户也是社会主义劳动者,也是为建设社会主义出力,为“四化”作贡献。他们的劳动同样是光荣的,同样应该受到尊重。但大多数并不是万元户。报刊宣传应该全面一点。

But most are not million households. Newspaper publicity should be more comprehensive.
