根据美国外语教学法专家里弗斯(Rivers)和坦珀利(Temperly)1978年的统计,“听”在人类交际活动中所占比例为45%,“说”占30%,“读”占16%,“写”占9%。可见听力对于英语学习的重要性,但农村地区中学听力教学方法落后,功利性强,很难达到预期的效果。下面笔者谈谈影响农村中学听力提高的几个原因以及应对策略。一、教师教学方法单一,材料来源单一以江苏省现有的高考模式为例,听力所占比重为20分。1-5题每题只读一遍,后面的15题每题读两遍。而教师对于这两种题型的教学几乎采用同一种方法。很多老师
