博白长肛棒蟾Entoria bobaiensisChen属竹节虫目(?)科长肛棒属。在广西博白县危害马尾松及红椎,以若虫及成虫取食马尾松针叶或红椎叶片、嫩梢,虫口密度高时能将奇主叶部咬落、吃光,严重影响林木的正常生长,是松椎(针、阔叶树)混交林的一种新害虫。该虫的生物学特性至今尚无报道,为适时防治、减轻危害,笔者于1987—1989年对该虫的生物学特性进行了初步观
