At the request of the European Union, the United States and Canada, the World Trade Organization decided to set up a dispute settlement panel on October 26, launching a formal investigation into the allegation of Chinas trade practices conceing the import of auto parts. The move is to examine whether Chinas tariff on imported auto parts breaks inteational trade rules.
