ENT J59(9),1980为眩晕专号,除序言外,有论著5篇。兹综译如下。眩晕(Vertigo)和头晕(dizziness)常混用,实际上不尽相同。deJesus谓眩晕是患者能明确叙述的自身转动(自动性)或环境在转动(他动性)的运动感,而头晕往往是患者说不清的一种自身感受如头晕眼花、头重脚轻、迷糊昏倒、方位不清、非特殊性平衡失调或有些乏力、麻木或四肢不自主颤抖等。所以可以把眩晕看作是头晕的一个类型,但不能反过来把头晕说成是眩晕。Holt & Thomas把有运动感的称为真性眩晕,是前庭系(半规管、椭圆囊、前庭神经与前庭核)受累所致;无运动感的称为非转动性头晕(nonrotational dizziness)则是其他器官系统疾病引起,最常见的是梅毒和各种贫血,其次为大脑缺氧(如直立性低血压、房颤等心血管系疾病)、
