熔融金属快速凝固技术(简称RST)是当前世界开发新型材料的重要工艺技术之一。RST通常是指冷却速度为10~4—10~6度/秒的凝固工艺,所得徽晶材料晶粒尺寸为1—10微米,与常规的合金相比它不仅有细化组织,扩大固溶度、化学成份偏折少等优点;还具有独立的亚稳相,其热稳定性也远优于非晶材料。目前国外已将大块微晶材料用于热模具钢、工具钢、汽车及航空工业等方面。
