安达信于1979年开始拓展在中国的业务,并于1983年和1987年分别在北京和上海设立了办事处。安达信于1991年成立安达信(上海)企业咨询有限公司,成为当时第一家在上海注册的外商独资咨询公司。1992年,安达信与国家财政部合作,在北京成立了中国首家中外合作会计师事务所—安达信华强会计师事务所。自1992年至今,安达信公司又相继在深圳、广州、重庆及西安开设了分公司。目前安达信公司在中国拥有约1400名员工,并仍在不断扩大。
Arthur Andersen expanded its operations in China in 1979 and set up offices in Beijing and Shanghai in 1983 and 1987 respectively. Arthur Andersen established Arthur Andersen (Shanghai) Enterprise Consulting Co., Ltd. in 1991 and became the first foreign-owned consulting company registered in Shanghai at the time. In 1992, Arthur Andersen established cooperation with the Ministry of Finance in Beijing, China’s first Sino-foreign cooperative accounting firm - Andersen Huaqiang accounting firm. Since 1992, Andersen has successively opened branches in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Xi’an. At present, Andersen has about 1,400 employees in China and is still expanding.
