南非生产的黄金在世界总产量中占非常重要的地位。全世界黄金的年产量约为1450吨(1984年为1452吨,1985年为1489吨),而南非的黄金产量1984年为683吨,占世界的47％,1985年南非产金672吨。 鉴于南非的黄金生产在世界上占有举足轻重的地位,因此将现有的资料加以整理,供有关部门参考。
Gold produced in South Africa is a very important part of the total output of the world. Gold production in the world is about 1,450 tons per year (1,452 tons in 1984 and 1,489 tons in 1985), while South Africa’s gold output was 683 tons in 1984, accounting for 47% of the world’s total. In 1985, South Africa produced 672 tons of gold. In view of South Africa’s gold production occupying a pivotal position in the world, the existing information is collated for the reference of relevant departments.
