一、历史:1949年在伦敦举行了首次大麦和麦芽委员会会议,当时E.B.C.(欧洲啤酒协会)九个会员国都参加了会议,会议同意对有希望的大麦品种进行试验,并对这些品种所生产的麦芽作出评价,在会议上,也同意研究分析方法,有助于大麦育种者在育种早期检定麦芽和酿造品质。1950年有10个品种在8个国家进行试验。
I. History: The first barley and malt committee meeting was held in London in 1949, when nine member countries of the EBC (European Beer Association) attended the meeting and agreed to experiment with promising varieties of barley and to produce Malt evaluation, at the meeting, also agreed to research and analysis methods to help barley breeders in the early breeding of malting and brewing quality. In 1950, 10 varieties were tested in eight countries.
