The fierce regional conflicts have brought African affairs back to the center of international society after nearly a hundred years. This trend has been reinforced by China’s economic participation in Africa. Africa has always played a shaped role in the expansion of the world system. In the past few centuries, the legitimacy of the internal order in Africa has changed with the shift in global centers of power. This resource-rich continent has always been dominated by the path to modernization. In addition to fully revealing the complicated political and economic environment in Africa, the exerted articles have made a vertical and horizontal political economy imagination about the ability of Chinese capital to formulate rules.
