十三届四中全会以来的13年,正值我国由实现第一阶段奋斗目标迈向第二阶段奋斗目标的重要时期。为适应国民生产总值再翻一番、人民生活由温饱迈向小康水平的要求,我们加强以高速公路、大型桥梁和长大隧道等为重点的交通基础设施建设,有效提升了我国交通运输生产力水平,缩短了与世界发达国家的差距。
The 13 years since the Fourth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Central Committee constitute a crucial period for our country’s goal of striving from the realization of the first phase to that of the second phase. In order to meet the requirement of doubling the gross national product again and bringing the people’s livelihood from adequate food and clothing to a moderately prosperous level, we have strengthened the construction of transport infrastructure focusing on highways, large bridges and long tunnels to effectively enhance our transport productivity Level, shorten the gap with the developed countries in the world.
