恭王府及花园位于北京西城区前海西街17号(另有西门在柳荫街甲14号、北门在大翔凤胡同42号、东门在毡子胡同7号),是清道光帝旻宁第六子恭忠亲王奕诉的府邸和花园。奕诉死后,由其长子载澂的嗣子溥伟袭王爵。20世纪初,溥伟及其弟溥儒先后将府邸及花园转手,售与辅仁大学作为校舍及宿舍,建国后作为北京艺术师范学院的校舍,文化大革命以前是中国音乐学院校舍。“文革”后,由中国音乐学院和文化部艺术研究院作为办公和教学地点。尽管王府府邸已被1959年建造的两幢大楼遮挡住,但目前这里仍不失为北京遗存下来的最完整的王府之一。1982年2月23日经国务院公布为第二批全国重点文物保护单位。

February 23, 1982 by the State Council announced the second batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
