东莞市东华高级中学(以下简称东华高中)创办于2001年8月,由东莞市东华实业有限公司投资兴办,是一所民办公助性质的全日制寄宿式普通高中。自2004年首届毕业生参加高考以来,学校共有16400多人考取本科大学,其中121人考取清华大学、北京大学,42人考取香港或国外的一流名校。2015年高考,全校共有8名考生的总分进入广东省文理科前10名,并包揽了广东省文科总分前3名;1689人被本科大学录取,887人被重点大学录取,其中考取中山大学的146人,考取北京市重点高校的98人。办学14年来,学校先后被评为东莞市普教系统文明学校、东莞市文化建
